		<description>Hi everyone

What Sheryl hasn't told you is that it was me who messed up our blog - almost destroyed the site as well but luckily she had a back up in place for that.

I am just a muppet when it comes to this technical stuff - thank God for Sheryl for her knowledge and patience.

So now I have to try and build up our site again - please help by adding your comments. Any suggestions on topics you would like to see covered or improvements we could make would be very welcome.

Take care

		<description>Hi Melissa

Oh your poor husband - how awful. His parents must have been at their wits ends to handle this condition in that manner.

I don't know if you have any children but the doctors I am talking to say it is hereditary. My sons specialist "diagnosed" me about 10 minutes after we met - nobody had ever mentioned it to me before.

However, I do display some of the symptoms and am trying to find positive ways of dealing with both mine and my sons.

Thanks for visiting our blog and making comments - please come back soon.

Best wishes

<description>It is strange how they have now found that diet has little affect on children with ADHD. We have heard for a long time how diet affects children and now they are saying something else. I was under the belief that it was diet that affected children as well. I think diet is important but, obviously not the answer to behaviour problems. It must be very frustrating for you not knowing where to go or what to do. I don't think there is that much you can do to help ADHD just to be there for them and support them and let them expel their energy. My husband has Adhd and his parents did not deal with it very well at all. They would leave him for hours or chain him to his bed. Thanks for this information it just goes to show others how difficult it is having a child with Adhd and that it is not the parents fault in most of the circumstances.

<description>[...] Dr. Kenny HandelmanReally interesting read I found today:There is a difference in the brain activity of a child diagnosed with ADHD and others (although it is not seen as brain damage). Finally, there is a very vocal school of thought that blames food additives and the environment. &#8230; [...]</description>
